Practical information

Here's what you need to know to make the most of your experience:

You must register online by June 24th to guarantee your Volksfeesten Moorsel medal, however, registration is available after this time online and also on the day of the run.

On Sunday June 28th

9.45 -10.50 – Registration is open. All participants must confirm registration or pay/register at the desk to receive their wristband

10.30 – Kids course begins

11.00 – 10 km and 5 km begin

Roads will reopen at 12.30 however please be vigilant on the route and be mindful of other runners and walkers (stay right when being passed).
However you participate, please do stay to enjoy further activities and the food and drink that will be on offer as part of the Volksfeesten Moorsel.

Route information:

The 5km and 10km run follow the same route. About 50% is road but there are trails through small forest areas and over fields.
For those running the 10km there will be a water stop after the first loop at 5km and at the finish line for both the 5km and 10km.

Start Time and Venue: Arrive early on race day (at least 30 minutes before the run/walk start time) to ensure you have enough time to confirm registration and collect your wristband.

Safety Guidelines: Roads will reopen as the last walkers go by. Your safety is our top priority. Be sure to follow all safety guidelines provided by event organisers, including traffic regulations, hydration recommendations, and weather advisories.
